They have been chosen for their passion for music and the way in which they share this passion, as ambassadors of music. From performing on national TV to teaching 3 year olds the violin - our artists are inspirational musicans, role models and style icons all rolled into one.
Gina Luciani, an LA-based Miyazawa Emerging Artist, performs frequently in solo, chamber and orchestral settings and can be heard on many recordings in the film and television industry. She has collaborated with legendary artists such as Paul Coletti, Mike Garson, Colin Hay, James Newton Howard, Ronald Leonard, Rickey Minor, Jim Walker and John Williams.
Velvet & Stone are an indie-folk band from Devon, UK. They combine rich vocals, acoustic guitar and violin, to give an original take on a traditional genre. Drawing upon personal stories, melancholy Celtic tales and landscapes, they create a serene, and haunting sound that is difficult to forget.
Esther Abrami is a French classical violinist and model based in London who regularly performs across Europe. Esther has played under the direction of renowned conductors such as Jac van Steen and Paul Mann in prestigious venues including the Royal Festival Hall, the Barbican Centre in London and the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. Most recently Esther was appointed leader of the Blackfriars Camerata in London.
Rachel is a professional flautist, singer, teacher and model based in Paris. She performs as a soloist, chamber musician and an in various orchestras and groups around France, having studied at the famous Paris IV-Sorbonne
The Blackfriars Camerata is the UK’s youngest and newest Professional Orchestra, created to enable young musicians to take their first step on the professional ladder. This is an ensemble of young professionals who have so much to say and give to music and who want to help forge a new future for the world of music making at home and abroad.
